Newest member of the B2B cast!

Meet James Koch:

As many of you know we've recently added some help to our B2B Film project to ensure it's success. One of the individuals we've had the tremendous fortune of incorporating into the project is James Koch (pronounced "cook")! James brings TONS of experience to our expedition as an endurance athlete and will not only be our third paddler (he's already been training hard for a while now!) but he will also take charge of our nutrition plan, some social media and fundraising tasks, and trip logistic/planning as well. So, needless to say, we're ecstatic to have him on-board as a huge new and helpful part of the Bridge to Bridge Film project!

A Brief Bio:

James is 31 years old and hails from Temecula California. His background is in endurance cycling (both road and mountain) and surfing. He started riding and racing at an elite level at 11 years old and has continued to this day. Although he loves being competitive he's found ultimate fulfillment in channeling his passions to help others. He is now involved heavily with a non-profit group called Cast a Shadow (yep, that's him on the landing page!). They raise money for the less fortunate by doing multi-day endurance cycling adventures. Find out more on their website by clicking here. Being a part of the B2B film project has resonated with James and perfectly coincides with his passion in life to gives those in need an encouraging and helpful hand.

Great story by NPR:

Here is a well produced news story by NPR that conveys exactly why we're doing what we're doing--crossing water to bring water. Click the image above to be linked to their site our just click here. Hopefully after watching you'll realize, as we have, that there is a tremendous need accross the globe for clean, potable drinking water.

Continuing to make waves!

We've been fortunate enough to receive even more attention recently as Mark Kaplan from www.surfboardsoceanside.com ran into Tim during a training day and asked if he could post an article on his site about our expedition! Of course we said yes! Feel free to check out the post by clicking here or check out the impromptu video Mark shot of Tim surfing his YOLO stand-up paddle-board by clicking here.

World Water Day:

Here's a quick little video put together by Phil from eMotion Web Video. It showcases our day in Carlsbad at the Aqua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's Discovery Center (yeah, say that 3 times fast!). We were invited to have a booth there and share about our Bridge to Bridge expedition throughout the afternoon! It was awesome to meet and interact with some amazing companies (I'm looking at you h20 Trash Patrol!) doing some incredible things to help with the global clean water cause. It was also a nice day to just sit back and relax a bit while enjoying some terrific weather! Sorry to those who missed it, hopefully we'll see you next year.

More sharing at Kelly Elementary!

Today we were invited back for another day of sharing at Kelly Elementary! Apparently we missed some opportunities with a few grades that REALLY wanted to hear all about our project and how they could help make a difference in the world! It was sooooo exciting to see so many young people eager to do what they could to address the global water crisis! What a humbling experience (again) for the entire cast and crew!
